From spectral clear sky emissivity to total clear sky emissivity
D. BATHIEBO
From standard and observed atmospheric profiles a simple model to compute the spectral sky emissivity has been built, and compared with Lowtran-6 code calculations. In the present paper, it is analytically integrated. The relations expressing the total emissivity point out a small effect of hygrometry. They are discussed and compared with thos(...)

Expressions for computing the radiative cooling flux from the sky in different climates
D. BATHIEBO
Sky radiation affects numerous systems but is often under estimated. This paper is especially oriented towards its determination in hot countries for cooling purposes. It includes expressions for clear weather conditions and shows some properties and the power of the flux according to the climates. Observations in Kuwait and in the Ivory Coast(...)

The nutritional status of meat is tarnished by its association with the induced cooking contaminants. The aim of this study was to assess the heterocyclic aromatic amines profile and contents in processed chicken in Burkina Faso. Eight polar and apolar heterocyclic aromatic amines (HAAs) including 2-mino-3-methylimidazo[4,5-f]quinolone (IQ), 3(...)

Do floristic composition, plant species abundance and vegetation structure in Sudanian wetlands vary according to conservation status?
B. NACOULMA
In Sahel, wetlands are particularly endangered hence practical knowledge for their sustainable management is needed. The aim of this study was to compare plant community structure between protected and unprotected wetland bank stands in eastern Burkina Faso. Phytosociological and dendrometrical parameters were carrying out in adult trees, seed(...)
