Threshold dynamics of a nonlinear host–vector SEIR–SI model with saturated incidence and periodic impulsive biological control: Application to TYLCV
Michel Ido, Moussa Barro
We develop a nonlinear host–vector model to describe the transmission dynamics of Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus (TYLCV) in tomato crops. The model couples an SEIR structure for the plant population with an SI formulation for the vector Bemisia tabaci, incorporating logistic growth and saturated incidence functions

Multiplicity result for Dirichlet problem driven by p(x)- Laplacian-like operator
Dofyniwassouani Alain Houede, Abdoul Raouf Pougma, Adama Ouédraogo
We prove the existence and multiplicity of nontrivial weak solutions for a class of Dirichlet problems involving a p(x)-Laplacian-like operator. The study is conducted in the setting of variable exponent Sobolev spaces and employs appropriate variational methods together with a variant of the Mountain Pass Lemma.

Analysis of dengue transmission taking into account hemorrhagic cases through Caputo fractional order derivatives
Yacouba Yoda, Dramane Ouedraogo, Moussa Barro, Aboudramane Guiro
We perform on a dengue disease model using Caputo fractional derivatives in order to better observe the dynamics of infection in human beings, especially the dynamics of dengue hemorrhagic cases. After rigorous mathematical study, we calculate the basic reproduction number and determine the equilibrium points. We then establish an analysis of(...)

Worst value and robust value for general optimization problem under uncertainty data
Ali Ouédraogo, Moussa Barro, Sado Traoré
In this paper we consider general form of a optimization problem in face of data uncertainty. We determine a necessary and sufficient condition ensuring the equality between the worst value and the robust value of this uncertain problem with attainment of the worst value. And we deduce robust strong duality and robust stable strong duality pro(...)

Robust optimization for quadratic programs with data uncertainty using the concept of stability radius
Satafa Sanogo, Mohamed Zongo, Moussa Barro, Sado Traoré
In this work, we study an uncertain quadratic optimization problem by using the concept of stability radius. That allows to prove robustness of uncertain quadratic optimization models. Firstly, we determine the stability radius of this problem by applying Ascoli formula. Secondly, we show that its robust counterpart has at least an optimal sol(...)

On the Occurrence of Different Classes of Solar Flares during the Solar Cycles 23 and 24
Longo Wilfried Sanon, Wendpuiré Ousmane Compaoré, Somaïla Koala, Jean Louis Zerbo
In this study we review the occurrence of different types (A, B, C, M, and X classes) of solar flares during different solar cycle phases from 1996 to 2019 covering the solar cycles 23 and 24. During this period, a total of 19,126 solar flares were observed regardless the class: 3548 flares in solar cycle 23 (SC23) and 15,668 flares in solar c(...)
