Résumé
This paper investigates the heterogeneous effect of human capital on vulnerable employment in 83 developing countries, using quantiles via moments regression method developed by Machado and Silva (2019). The results show that human capital significantly reduces vulnerable employment. The findings also reveal that the narrowing effects of human capital is stronger in countries with higher vulnerable employment rate. Additionally, gender-related heterogeneity analysis shows that women human capital strongly reduces vulnerable employment than men human capital.
