Résumé
In response to the challenges of including employees with disabilities, this article examines the management of reasonable accommodation processes from the perspective of anticipating the continuity of the capacity to act. Based on the life stories of blind and visually impaired employees in six organisations, the results highlight the absence of anticipatory practices, leading to discontinuities in the capacity to act. They also reveal dysfunctions related to asynchronies, as well as the coping strategies employed by workers with disabilities. These findings invite us to propose a responsible accommodation approach that integrates anticipation as a transformative factor for organisations to create inclusive futures.
