The role of cinema in the promotion of African languages and aesthetics

Résumé

African filmmakers through the cinematic works highlight the contributions of thinkers such as Frantz Fanon, Cheikh Anta Diop, Jean-Marc Ela in general history knowledge and promotion of the languages of Africa. Indeed, through creations feature film aesthetics represented for example by Tilaï, Buud Yam, Sia or the dream of the python, Kemtiyu, SEEX ANTA for example developed respectively by burkinabe Idrissa Ouedraogo, Gaston Kaboré, Dani Kouyaté and the Senegalese Ousmane William MBAYE, the national languages moore, jula, wolof, Egyptology, the African know-how are valued, magnified, even doors to the pinnacle in several ways. Through their works, these directors put in focus magic, aesthetic perception in line with the ideas of the African illustrious intellectuals, i.e. the first and the second generation of the African intelligentsia who worked not only to undermine the values of the colonial society to create an African society, but also helped to control the African culture in time and space, but also promote African languages and Egyptology. Gaston Kaboré who originally was studying in history until the DEA indulges in film studies at the expense of those of history. Thus, the same as his peers, it better conveys the ideas and thoughts of men representing strong symbols of what Africa has produced in terms of gray eminences in his works Raabi, Zan Boko, Wend Kuuni and Buud Yam all in moore language only. This is especially his film 2000 generations of Africa better, illustrating the immensity and the spiritual greatness of the works which show those of the erudite Cheikh Anta Diop, Frantz Fanon, Jean Marc Ela in total knowledge of the true universal history. As an example, the consecration of Kemtiyu of Ousmane William MBAYE as best documentary film at the 25th edition of the FESPACO is a very instructive example.
